Coach Tracy Woodson
Has Had A Major Impact
On The Lives Of Others For Over 30 Years.
Both On and Off The Field
“Over the years of recruiting talented student athletes, I have learned who the people I can trust who recommend players to our program. Tracy Woodson is at the top of this list.
Having a limited budget to travel and limited time, each time Coach Woodson recommends someone, we go after that player on his recommendation only! Coach Woodson doesn’t miss!”
In this day and age of recruiting, you need a network of evaluators that you can trust who they recommend as prospects.
Tracy Woodson counts as one of the best evaluators and I can count on him giving me the truth. He has a long history of being able to evaluate and knows what type of player we need to have to be able to win.
When he calls, we certainly follow up with that player because we know it’s going to be a player that fits what we are looking for and is competitive in the top group of players we are looking at.
Tracy (Coach Woodson) was extremely helpful last summer assisting Jackson find the right university.
The entire process can be overwhelming and Tracy had the contacts in the industry and provided counseling to both our son and us (parents) as we navigated the ever changing landscape of baseball recruiting.
Ultimately, Jackson ended up at his top choice to continue his education and play baseball.
Thanks, Coach Woodson!
My son’s introduction to the complex matrix of college athletics recruiting came during a presentation by Coach Woodson four years ago at one of his camps.
Since that time Tracy has provided him with candid, specific direction on the hard work, discipline and character required to play baseball beyond high school.
Tracy has played and coached the game at the highest level, and he knows baseball from the inside out.
He combines his knowledge of today’s ever-changing recruiting process with his vast network of relationships that span the collegiate and professional ranks.
Best of all, Tracy tells it like it is.
I’m grateful for Tracy’s guidance, both in the dugout, and in helping my son successfully navigate the process to earn an opportunity to play at the next level.
Coach Woodson was kind enough to extend an opportunity to me to join his Richmond staff.
What I found was that he was one of the most knowledgeable baseball minds I had ever worked with and my career spans many decades.
He was easily worth 1 to 2 runs a game as a coach in the third base coaching box.
Take full advantage of his evaluation skills to determine where you fit best, and you’ll check all the boxes as you begin your college journey.
Bottom line…Who would you rather trust your future with?
A former MLB player, MiLB Manager, and Division 1 Head Coach or someone else.
Ultimately it’s your call, I know who I’d call: Coach Woodson!
