The methodology of The College Recruiting Experts has been honed by former college coaches – now your Recruiting Coaches (aka our Experts) – through extensive experience and collaboration with thousands of athletes and their families. They have also reaped the benefits of approaching the process with a thorough plan and exceptional advice.

The approach of The College Recruiting Experts reflects an individualized, intelligent, comprehensive, and dedicated plan to identify the optimal academic and athletic options available for your student-athlete.

Once you become a College Recruiting Experts Member, you join our family, and the journey begins.

Step 1
Upon becoming a member, you will receive a scheduling link to book a meeting with us. This meeting is invaluable as it allows us to learn more about your student-athlete, their aspirations, and your current questions. We strongly encourage the student-athlete and at least one parent to be on the conference call. During this call, we will outline and discuss the College Recruiting Experts procedure, detailing the expected roles and responsibilities of each family member and our team moving forward.

Step 2
Depending on the student-athlete’s graduation year, we take the pivotal step to create a targeted list of schools. This process is crucial and sometimes time-consuming, ensuring that your list of colleges aligns with your student-athlete’s academic and athletic goals. We meticulously examine recent transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, athletic film footage (an evaluation of your student-athlete’s athletic talents), and proposed summer schedules.

Our focus is on forming a collaborative plan that pinpoints a specific core group of schools. It’s important to note that we understand the list of schools may change over time, so we remind all student-athletes to maintain flexibility since the process is fluid.

Step 3
Once we agree and establish your initial list, College Recruiting Experts utilizes it to conduct a comprehensive analysis of events, showcases, prospect days, and other activities to maximize your student-athlete’s exposure. We are careful in making recommendations and always strive to help you choose events tailored to your budget, time, and, most importantly, your talent level.

Step 4
Monthly conference calls are conducted to address ongoing questions, issues, or concerns, ensuring continuous progress. While we welcome both parents and the student-athlete to join the monthly check-in call, we are comfortable engaging only with the student-athlete, as this occasionally allows for a more open dialogue between the student and our Expert. Moreover, we strongly encourage students to uphold a certain level of responsibility throughout this process, as it is their once-in-a-lifetime journey.

Each call is summarized and documented with comprehensive notes to maintain clear recollection and communication. Our Expert coaches are always readily available for unlimited access to their advice, help, knowledge, and guidance.

Step 5
Progress is consistently evaluated by assessing the responsiveness of schools. Student-athletes are encouraged to actively engage with institutions showing the most interest.

Finally and Most Importantly
Our commitment extends until the student-athlete receives a college acceptance letter. While the process may be confusing, lengthy, and intricate, we are dedicated to guiding you and your family every step of the way.
